Lapis Lazuli Bracelets

Lapis lazuli is a rock, not a single mineral. Blue lazurite, white calcite and gold flecks of pyrite, pressed together. Nearly all of it has come out of the same valley in Badakhshan for six thousand years. Painters ground it into ultramarine and charged more for the colour than for gold. One bracelet, 8mm beads.
