Obsidian Bracelets

Both bracelets are the same volcanic glass, cooled too fast for crystals to form. Black obsidian is plain jet black with a mirror gloss. Silver sheen obsidian caught flat layers of gas bubbles as it cooled, so light coming off it throws a grey wash across the bead. People knapped this into blades long before metal. Two bracelets, 8mm beads.
