Rhodonite Bracelets

Rhodonite takes its name from rhodon, the Greek word for rose. The pink is manganese. The black veins running through it are manganese too, just oxidised. Russian cutters in the Urals carved it into slabs for the tsars, including a sarcophagus that weighed about seven tons. Our one bracelet is pink and black, 8mm beads.
