Sodalite Bracelets

Sodalite is named for the sodium in it. The deep blue is broken up by white calcite veining, which is the quickest way to tell it from lapis, since sodalite carries no gold pyrite. A mine near Bancroft in Ontario shipped tons of it to London in 1901 to line a royal house. One bracelet here, 8mm beads.
