Yellow Serpentine Bracelets

Serpentine got its name from the Latin for snake, because polished pieces carry a mottled skin like pattern. It is soft, 3 to 5 on the Mohs scale, so it takes a carving knife easily and it scratches easily too. Carvers have sold it as new jade for a century. Our one bracelet is warm yellow green, 8mm beads on an elastic band.
